    At the beginning of the 20th century (1930) - Alcibiades - a refugee confectioner from Constantinople, settled in Sitia, Crete. In the caf\u00e9-patisserie, he opened in the centre of the city, locals and visitors of the island found unique sweets and ice creams made with exquisite pure raw materials. The \"Constantinople recipes\" combined with the traditional Cretan ones created an unparalleled marriage of flavours.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t

    In 1956, Alcibiades\u2019s son, Fokionas, retaining the products\u2019 traditional character launched the first standardisation making them available outside the city limits of Sitia. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t

    In 1985 the baton passed onto the third generation of the family. The two brothers - Alcibiades and Christophoros - along with their passion for pastry and their love of tradition, continued with their passion and vision. All products for decades have been made with the utmost persistence for high quality, traditional recipes and pure raw materials, mainly sourced from the fertile Cretan land, combined with the endless taste of people who continue the tradition of Cretan nutrition.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t

Continuous and carefully planned investments in the modernization of facilities and equipment are absolutely essential to improve the competitiveness of the business.
